This is how a lot of us may feel the day after Christmas. We “over indulge” on the big day, and then we feel like we need to punish ourselves the day after with grueling workouts and starving ourselves for the day.
What if we switched our mindset from “over indulging” to enjoying ourselves? What if we looked at the day after Christmas as carrying on with business as usual instead of a day of punishment?
Exercise and food should be a positive experience and not used as methods to punish ourselves. Movement and nutritious food are good things!!
If you feel like you need to move to get out of your post Xmas malaise…do it, but just enough to make you feel good, not pound yourself into the ground. Maybe try and get more veggies, protein, and water into your diet today…but don’t stress about it!!
